Otherwise, NG+++ is where I cut it off as it seems the difficulty doesn't really seem to come off as a fun challenge so much as just a challenge. To enable the console, go to "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\my games\Runic Games\Torchlight 2\save\(number)". If you're a completionist or really like a challenge or maybe you're just on a lower difficulty setting, don't let the last two +'s get in your way. Lastly, I want to offer my opinion that NG+++ is the highest I feel that's really worth going to since the monsters start at level 100 and obviously only go up from there. I must add though, that you can only play multi-player with players who are on the same level of NG+ as you, so if you were to go to NG+++, you couldn't play with someone that was on NG++ or NG++++ as an example. You will likely still not be max fame level though, so you can still earn fame by killing champions/bosses and gain skill points because of fame increases.Īs a final alternative, you can start NG+ now, and if you don't really feel like running all the way back through the campaign again, just head to whatever town is nearest and go to the mapworks from there. If you're level 100 when you enter NG+, you are already max level and can't get any more experience so you won't be getting any more stat points. Any stats/skills you get will still apply and you can then also opt to go into NG+ from there. If you decide you want to do the mapworks instead, you'll be able to level as high as you want, but if you return to any of the previous acts, the monsters will still be the level they were when you started the game (Like level 1-20 or so for act 1). You will, however, have access to the mapworks in NG+ mode, right from the moment you enter the town in Act 1. You just close off the various Acts of the game until you progress through the story enough to get to them again. Okay so if you go to NG+, you basically just repeat the campaign with your character in the exact state that its in right when you do it.
